5 Weeks

Hi, my name is Laurence Sophia. I'm Britt and Melinda's daughter and I'm now 5-weeks old. Life has been a big roller coaster ride these past few weeks but I'm not complaining. I eat as much as I want, when I want. I sleep all day, and stay up all night to talk and play with Mommy and Daddy. They seem tired at night but I just love to talk and kick my legs. My aunt Natalee stops by every night and said she's thinking of having a new baby so I can have a playmate. I was born into a wonderful family, lot's of grandma's and grandpa's, aunt's and uncle's, cousin's too!! Everybody loves me. Life is great and I'm in no hurry to grow up.

Mommy says I look like Daddy. Daddy says I look like Mommy. I say I look like me:)

This is the dress my aunt Connie bought me. It's one of the few non-pink outfits I own. I love it but it's still a little too big. I'll keep eating until it fits just right.

Sometimes I look just like Papa Jerry when I sleep.

Mommy thought this was the funniest face ever. I was just trying to warn her about what was about to happen in my diaper.

Daddy says I look like 'The Rock' when I look into the camera, raise an eyebrow, and give a concerned look. "Can you smell what The Larry is cooking"?

I love to lay around without any clothes or diaper on. It's so invigorating.

Mommy says I'm old enough now to know that my hands and feet are a part of me. That's why she gave me this wonderul rattle. I don't understand why I keep wacking myself in the face with it though.

I like to sleep in my bassinet during the day but at night I like Mommy and Daddy's bed better.

Papa Bob and Kathy came down to see me last weekend. They bought me three new pink outfits!! How did they know pink is my favorite color?

I hope someday to sit up on my own. I'm not so good at it now but I'm practising every day.

Look how pretty my eyes are. Just like Mommy's.

Daddy likes to take lots of photos. Sometimes they turn out like he hopes they will.

Mommy and Daddy say I have a pretty smile. I don't do it often though. I like to keep them on their toes.

Mommy and Daddy are so funny sometimes. They make me smile then point a small black box in my face that has a bright light in it. It goes off without warning and all I can see is white for about ten minutes.

Mommy is so crazy about this new rattle she bought me, it's supposed to look like a crab. Mommy likes to sing 'Under the Sea' while she holds it above my head. That's my favorite new song.

Sometimes after a long, hard day I just like to sit and stare at my favorite window above Mommy and Daddy's bed.

Kyle & Sarai's Wedding - Saturday, June 10

After much deliberation, Kyle and Sarai decided to have their wedding ceremony at the old Bonneville estate as one last fond farewell to King Kid Ground Zero. There was some worry about the weather. It had rained buckets for two days prior but the day of the wedding was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony didn't quite go off without a hitch. Upon arriving to the grand estate, the groom suddenly realised he had forgotten a few minor things - the bride's shoes and wedding guest book. Oops!! So while the harried groom made a mad dash back home the rest of use took the nickle tour of the now-empty Bonneville estate (sniff, sniff, tear). Once things finally got underway however, the ceremony was as beautiful as the weather. Congratulations to you both!! May all your days together be happy ones.

Everything looks perfect. Now all we need is a Pastor, Bride and Groom.

They said it would start at 6:30 so where is eveybody?

Connie and Bill got there early just to save seats in the second row.

No Natalee, you can't take him with you.
